Control multiple doors through one Reader

Controlling multiple doors through one Reader is possible, but some caveats and prerequisites exist. 

Prerequisites :

• You have the Hardware Manager role in your organization
• You have set up the door controller with at least two doors. 
• Requires configuration through the Advanced Configuration Tool in Entryfy

Caveats: 

• The user will open all doors simultaneously if they can access multiple on the same door controller. 

Start by logging into Entryfy and selecting your organization and the Hardware Manager role. Navigate to your Site, and under Door Controllers, access the Advanced Configuration tool through the three-dot menu. 

In our example, we want to link our Door 2 to be opened by the Reader from Door 1. To do this, you must determine which Access Point you must change.

This will be an Access Point for Door 2, which has the direction In. You can see which Door an Access Point has by the field Entity, as shown in the picture below.

Select the other Reader from the dropdown under IdPointDevices and press Save. Your users will open all doors they can access through a single reader.
