Accesses are designed to provide Entryfy administrators with convenient and effective means of managing access rules for their organization.
As an Operator, when you log in you will see a list of access you can manage.
First press the access you want to manage users in.
Press the Edit Users button to enable the form where you can select which users you want to include or exclude from your access.
You will get a confirmation dialog after pressing Save Assignment which will show you the changes you are about to make. Please make sure they are correct before pressing Save.
Guest user is intended for short-term access only. If the guest becomes a regular visitor, make sure their role is promoted to Regular on the Users tab.
Guest role user is created when an operator issues credentials through the Accesses tab via the Add Guest button.
In terms of Entryfy, Guest users differ from Regular users by the following:
- As an identifier, Guest users need only e-mail addresses - first and second names are optional.
- Guest users have a static QR code - it can be shown right from the e-mail rather than the mobile application.
- Guest users receive a QR code and PIN in the invitation letter - mobile app installation is optional.
